A fantastic, all-around choice for patio shade, this market umbrella is easy to operate and ready to face the outdoor elements. The dense, hardwood pole is made of marenti wood, which is a variety of Shorea wood. Widely used for furniture and light construction, marenti wood is harvested responsibly and offers excellent weather-resistance.
Now on to the shade ... the umbrella canopy is made with Pacifica fabric, a solution-dyed polyester fabric that carries a four-year fade-resistance warranty and a four-year warranty against rot and mildew. That means you'll be sure to get a lot of good out of this attractive octagonal umbrella. A simple pulley and pin lift system opens the canopy, which is supported by eight sturdy wood ribs. When using this umbrella with a 48-inch patio dining table, you'll need to use a stand weighing at least 40 pounds. If you use it freestanding, then you'll need a stand weighing at least 75 pounds.
