What We Like About This Umbrella Stand
A classic European look! The 40-lb. European Patio Umbrella Stand features a classic floral design to secure any umbrella in style.
This umbrella stand is made from resilient cast iron for the utmost in stability and durability. An anti-rust primer and weather-resistant powder-coat finish will withstand years of outdoor use. Several color options are available.
Protective feet on the base will prevent marring of your deck and patio surface. Both long (13.5-inch) and short (6.5-inch) neck tubes are provided to ensure the stand fits under your table.
This umbrella stand is designed for through-table use. For freestanding umbrellas, we recommend the 75-lb. European Stand.

The Umbrella Stand is a high quality product. The finish was perfect, very smooth. I had a hard time finding an Umbrella Stand that would fit under the Seaside Casual EnviroWood Bar Table due to the closeness of the table legs supports (less the 19 inches) and also looked nice. I didn't want one of those plastic sand filled stands. Once, I found the Galtech stand I knew that it was the one.[...] The rubber feet on the bottom of the stand prevent it from scratching up a patio or deck. You can see them in the side view picture.

The stand is very good quality, but I found that it would not hold up my 9 ft umbrellas when the shade was offset. They just fell over. Otherwise, they are great. I always close the umbrellas in windy conditions. I have 2 out at my pool and will buy another 2 for the decks, as we have no shade.

Q1: Can I attach the 13.5 inch and 6.5 inch necks together to extend the length of the pole? I just purchased this, but my table is 37 inches H, and the crank is in the way - so I need to extend it. Any suggestions? Thanks
A: No, that stand is not designed to have the two necks joined together. Do you have a bar height table? If so you need a taller umbrella pole, not a taller umbrella stand.
