Made with a powder coated aluminum pole and wind resistant fiberglass ribs, this patio umbrella has the bones to stand the test of time. The aluminum pole is lightweight, and secured to the post with a high-impact, weather resistant PVC hub. The canopy is made of an outdoor rated spun polyester fabric.
Use the Coral Coast Patio Umbrella with a 50 lb. stand for use with a table, or allow it to be freestanding, with a 75 lb. stand. Either way you choose, this 9 ft. umbrella gives durable shade in brightly vivid colors. It features a crank lift and three-way push-button tilt. This flexibility offers easy opening, closing and three tilt positions.
A patio-umbrella cover will prolong the life of your umbrella fabric. And don't forget an umbrella stand. This umbrella is not intended for commercial use.

Purchased this umbrella in August 2010. In less than two years the color dye was fading; everytime I touched the umbrella my hands would be covered with green dye. Then the umbrella material began to come apart at the seams to the point that it appeared as if someone was slicing it with a knife. Umbrella was always protected from the elements and stored during fall and winter seasons. So basically, when taking actual use into account, it only lasted approximately six months.
Both the construction of this umbrella as well as the craftsmanship is extremely poor. Customer service failed to help, other than to offer a 10% discount for the purchase of another umbrella.
Based on my experience I would definitely not recommend this umbrella to anyone, and I will not purchase anymore products from Hayneedle.

Color is true to the tiny swatch on-line. Delivery was even sooner than expected. This is a recent purchase, so can't say how the umbrella will hold up, but so far so good.

Very pleased with the 9-ft Coral Coast Patio Umbrella that I ordered. The color was perfect and exactly what I had hoped it would be. Umbrella is of very good quality and looks great on my patio. Seemless process from ordering to delivery.
