Hand-crafted of stunning cypress wood, this dining set is available in two configuration options. You can choose the 48-inch square table with four 48-inch benches, or the 72-inch long rectangular table with two 36-inch benches and two 72-inch benches. Each table features a sophisticated slat-style center framed by larger planks, and each is equipped with an umbrella hole. Cypress is naturally weather-resistant so it's a wonderful choice for your patio. These pieces all feature an innovative clip system that makes them easy to assemble and very durable once they're ready to use.
About Cypress
Cypress has a natural preservative oil known as cypressene, which makes the wood naturally resistant to insects and decay. With a suitable surface treatment, cypress wood offers superior durability, holding paint well and resisting weather. All but indestructible, cypress is a close grain wood that resists checking and warping. It's as long-lasting as it is weather-resistant. If you should choose to paint it, you should use an exterior oil-based primer in white or grey followed by an exterior oil or latex paint of your choice. If you prefer to keep the wood natural, you should apply a natural oil-based stain or preservative annually or as needed. Keep in mind that due to the density of this wood, the drying process may take several days depending on the humidity and temperature. Small cracks called weather checking may appear in the wood. This is a natural process, and will not affect the useful life of the product.

Clips made from spring steel provide a strong yet flexible joint, and are self-stabilizing when engaged. Assemble your pieces by simply sliding the male and female clips together and securing with gentle taps from a rubber mallet. (Never strike the wood directly with the mallet. Cover the wood with a folded towel or other padding before gently tapping the clips.) Clips are located in a pocket and when the piece is fully assembled, all clips and fasteners are concealed.
