Materials used in this set are true Western Red Cedar. Many competitors use blended woods, scraps, and compressed dust and call it real cedar. In fact, some regulations require a product to be only 25% cedar to be called such. This product is 100% interior British Columbia, tight knot cedar furniture. No finger jointing used here.
