This comfortable loveseat-style bench features room for two with an attractive slatted back and seat. Crafted from responsibly harvested FSC certified wood, this handsome chair sports a deep dark Java Brown stain that will add charm and character to your outdoor setting. While the bench features a generous seat and slatted back for maximum support, the water- and fade-resistant cushion takes your comfort to a whole new level. Some assembly required.
FSC Wood - Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified forests are managed to ensure long-term timber supplies while protecting the environment and lives of forest-dependent peoples.
Outdoor fabric is water- and fade-resistant. While the fabric is highly water repellent, if left out in the rain or under sprinklers it will absorb moisture where there is stitching. We recommend storing or covering when not being used. If the cushions do get wet, stand them on their side and allow the water to drain out of the stitched seam. To clean, use mild dish soap and water, do not use harsh chemicals.
Java Stain finish will weather over time and wood will take on a silvery gray patina (common to all outdoor wood). This is not considered a defect. The wood can be oiled twice a year to maintain finish -- available at local hardware stores.

Wipe clean with soft cloth and water solution made from mild dish soap. Natural and spice stains on wood will need to be oiled twice a year, otherwise it will weather to a silvery gray over a period of time. Painted black finish will weather the elements and is designed for outdoor use; freezing and thawing may cause the paint to crack. We recommend storing the furniture in a shed or garage in harsher climates.

I bought the Cabos bench with the natural fabric that was on clearance at Hayneedle outlet about two weeks ago. It was fairly easy to set up. All the pieces were there and all the screws lined up. It would be much easier with two people but I was able to put it together in less than an hour by myself. It looks like a nice bench, exactly the way it's pictured. I'm not blown away, but I thought it was a decent buy for the price I paid [...]. So far, so good, but I haven't used it much in the past two weeks because it's been raining, so I can't really comment on the quality. I'm planning on putting either teak oil or a polyurethane coating to protect against the weather.

We purchased this for our covered area at our front door. My husband will mainly use it for sitting outside during inclement weather to have a cigarette <;-( It was easy to assembly, fits perfect in the space, and looks great! I plan to weatherproof since I don't really want it to get weathered. There were a few minor quality issues but not enough to return the bench. The defects were on the seat where the screws went in the wood was chipped on one side and a small crack on the other side. There were a few chips in the finish.

I was quite impressed with the bench and the matching dining set I bought. I love the color of the wood, how easy it was to put together, and how strong and comfortable the piece is. I've already received a ton of compliments on it!
