The Cabos Collection Outdoor Club Chair offers comfortable outdoor relaxation in any setting. This chair features a wide seat, perfect for curling up with a good book, soaking in the sun, or just hanging by the pool. Crafted from responsibly harvested FSC certified wood, this handsome chair sports a deep dark Java Brown stain that will add charm and character to your outdoor setting. While the chair's generous seat and slatted back offers maximum support, the water- and fade-resistant cushions take your comfort to a whole new level. Some assembly required.
FSC Wood - Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified forests are managed to ensure long-term timber supplies while protecting the environment and lives of forest-dependent peoples.
Outdoor fabric is water- and fade-resistant. While the fabric is highly water repellent, if left out in the rain or under sprinklers it will absorb moisture where there is stitching. We recommend storing or covering when not being used. If the cushions do get wet, stand them on their side and allow the water to drain out of the stitched seam. To clean, use mild dish soap and water, do not use harsh chemicals.
Java Stain finish will weather over time and wood will take on a silvery gray patina (common to all outdoor wood). This is not considered a defect. The wood can be oiled twice a year to maintain finish -- available at local hardware stores.

Wipe clean with soft cloth and water solution made from mild dish soap. Natural Stain wood will need to be oiled twice a year to maintain brown finish, otherwise it will weather to a silvery gray over a period of time. Painted black finish will weather the elements and is designed for outdoor use; freezing and thawing may cause the paint to crack. We recommend storing the furniture in a shed or garage in harsher climates.

Love the look and comfort. Needed to send one chair back as it was marred and not going together properly. Hayneedle couldn't have been nicer, no problem. Got replacement chair and Fed Exed old back to them. No hassle.

In March 2011, we purchased two chairs for our balcony patio for lounging. It made it through the entire spring and summer season beautifully. The fabric (picked the multi-stripe) has held its color and the cushions are also still in good condition. They softened up quite a bit from when we first purchased them...they were very firm at first. I prefer the softer cushions.
The wood has maintained it's color (in its first season). I plan to oil it once a year because I like the rich wood color.
The cons: 1) It was a bit tricky to put together (do not screw in the pieces all the way, leave them loose until the end when tightening. It is a two person project). 2.) Last week, I noticed some of the stitching around the zipper of the seat cushion has come loose. I'll need to repair that.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I put two of these chairs on my covered front porch and they look great. At the recommendation of another review I did put Teak Oil on them. It looks great and protects the wood. These chairs have the deep-seated look I wanted.
They were fairly easy to assemble - I did need a little help to align the screws and hold it together. Overall - fantastic.
