Although I do like the chairs I ultimately received they were not my first choice. My first choice was ordered and I assumed everything was ok. 2 days later I was notified they were no longer available. The replacement chairs were higher by $80 but hay needle did knock$50 off each chair. The chairs arrived on time but 2 of the boxes had split and there was some marring of a couple of parts of those chairs but not necessarily enough to warrant returning them. Then one other chair came with no hardware. As I said I do like the chairs and they seem to be well made and are definitely heavy..just a few bumps in the road made this a 3 star transaction!
