This durable umbrella base is constructed from a cast aluminum shell around a cast iron center and is equipped with wheels on one side for easy mobility. The rust-resistant aluminum exterior is particularly well-suited for outdoor use, and it's a great alternative to iron, especially in humid environments.

The patented dual-purpose 2-inch stem allows you to use this stand in free-standing or through-the-table shade applications. It can accommodate market umbrella poles measuring 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter. Extend the stem when supporting a free-standing patio umbrella, and reduce the stem when positioning it under a table.
