Choice of Free-Standing, Deck-Mount, Spa, or Ground Insert Bases.
The Ground Insert Base goes 11 inches into the ground, has a 4-inch tube, and will show only a flat 5 x 5-inch disk when not in use. Installing this base requires shovels, ready-mix concrete, 2-gallon mixing bucket, an 18- to 20-inch piece of 2 x 6, two 4-inch clamps and a carpenter's level. This item can only be used with an umbrella from this company.
Deck Mount Plates will work on wooden decks as well as concrete patios. Both will be 3/4 inches high and 9 inches in diameter. Installing on wood will require a drill with a 1/4 inch drill bit, lag screws, washers and a ratchet with 1/2 inch socket. Installing on concrete will require a hammer drill with a 1/2 inch concrete bit, 4 concrete spread anchors, 4 mounting bolts with washers, and a ratchet with half-inch socket.

To rotate the umbrella 360 degrees, remove the locking pin from the base of the post and position the umbrella as desired, insert the pin to lock.
The option of three different bases gives you versatile placement for your umbrella. Choose from the following styles:
Free Standing Base
This portable metal base base adjusts to your concrete blocks up to 2 1/4" thick.
- Min. Block Weight: 200 lbs
- Accommodates 16" square, 18" square or 20" square blocks.
The Deckmount Base
Excellent for quick, permanent installation on flat surfaces using lag bolts on wood or expansion anchors on concrete. The umbrella support tube is easily removable, leaving only the flat disk in place.
- Deckmount Plate: 1/2" polished cast aluminum
- Diameter: 10"
The Spa Base
An offset umbrella makes the perfect shade for a hot tub or spa. This base simply slips underneath your hot tub, then anchors to the hot tub with screws.

The Ground Insert Base
Designed to be poured into concrete for superior strength. Umbrella support tube is removable in seconds; only the top plate is visible when not in use
