We purchased this for my grandmother. She had recently moved in with my parents and could not garden like she used to. These planters are on the deck where she does not have to bend to garden. She can continue to garden without causing any health problems. They match the decore on the deck and do not have to be drilled into the deck to stay put, which were the qualifications of my parents. These deck planters made everyone happy. Thanks.

I have had various deck planters over the years that have faded and cracked. I just purchased 2 more Apollo planters and couldn't believe that they matched the one I have had for 5 years! It has not faded at all. My pansies from last summer are blooming even though they were covered with 2 feet of snow during the winter. I highly recommend this planter.
